One backlink package, two budgets: $100 and $1,000 for a client

Both budgets are worked through below with example figures, because the method matters more than our numbers. Swap in your own prices from the catalogue.

Clerk's pick

Start the small client with three rows, not ten

With $100 to spend on stock, three well-checked rows beat ten cheap ones. You can read three articles properly, you can report three live URLs, and a miss costs little.

  • $100 stock: 3 rows, one target page.
  • $1,000 stock: 8 to 12 rows, three to four target pages.
  • Keep 10 to 15 percent of either budget unspent for a replacement.

What goes in the basket (all figures are examples)

Hypothetical prices; the catalogue shows the real price on every row.

The markup is yours, the arithmetic is not optional

Here is an example, clearly invented. A client pays $250 for a trial; you spend $85 on three rows and keep $15 in reserve. That leaves $150 before your own hours. If setup and reporting take four hours, you earned $37.50 an hour. Is that enough?

Many first-time resellers skip that last step. They count the stock, forget the hours, and then wonder why the work feels thin, so put your time in the quote line by line, next to the rows, using the same plain labels as your price bands.

At $1,000 of stock the maths changes shape. The same four hours of setup now spread across ten rows, so your hourly figure rises even at a modest markup, while the risk of one bad donor falls because no single row carries the whole report.

A second example, also invented. A $1,000 stock plan with ten rows might quote at $2,200. If three rows turn out weaker than their scores suggested, you still hold the $100 reserve, which pays for one replacement in the same band. No second quote to the client. Quiet repairs keep accounts calm, and they are only possible when a reserve was planned from the first line. Before you send either quote, run each row through the buyer's scorecard and keep a note of the result.

Choose the unit your client understands. Some prefer a flat price per placement, others a monthly allowance. Both work with a basket built from rows, and neither needs a subscription from us.

Order of operations at the counter

01

Fix the budget in writing

Agree the client amount and the date it is paid. Only then open the catalogue.

02

Shortlist twice as many rows as you need

Filter by niche, language, traffic and price. Open two articles per donor before it earns a place.

03

Build the basket, review it, then decide

Adding to the basket charges nothing, so build a leaner and a fuller version and compare totals.

04

Pay from the balance and log the order

Top up in the dashboard. Copy each live URL from ordered links into the client sheet as it appears, usually within about 24 hours.
